If you’re looking for some rich devotional resources today, this morning’s Valley of Vision Devotional, The Great God is good. I’ve also come across a very nicely formatted pdf version of Jonathan Edwards’ The Christian Pilgrim which comes very highly recommended. (8 pages.)
Lord, you said that if I have the faith of a mustard seed I could say to a mountain, be rooted up and cast into the sea; I stand now at the foot of Mt. Pride, and my faith wavers. Oooh… I like your recommendation of Edwards’ “Christian Pilgrim” interests me. I am going to have to look closely at that one. I don’t know – maybe it is just that my eyes light up when I see the word “pilgrim” in a book’s title. To make it even better, my eyes really light up when I see the word “pilgrim” and the last name Edwards associated with a book. :-)
