I’ve just come across a new blog written by Carolyn McCulley, author of Did I Kiss Marriage Goodbye? and a staff member of Sovereign Grace Ministries. Her blog is called Solo Femininity, and I cannot recommend it too highly. She writes from the perspective of a single adult female, and offers great biblical insight into relationships, modesty, courting, seeking a spouse, singleness, etc.
A few recent posts:
- Relating: It’s the Principles, not the Label (on “courtship” vs. “dating”)
- Victoria Should Keep Her Secrets Better Hidden (need I say more?)
- Beware an Imaginary Life Build Around an Imaginary Man (excellent)
- Luther, Feminism, Celibacy, and Marriage
Very good stuff–for men and for women.

Very nice site, aron! Have you seen the GirlTalk blog? That’s the sister of McCulley’s site. . . although perhaps too feminine for a single guy like you.
Hello Matthew!
Yes I have–they’ve certainly provided an excellent resource. They offer sound advice and present a wonderfully biblical standard for women to embrace, for single men to seek in a potential spouse, and for all men (married or otherwise) to encourage. “Women of God, be like this! Men of God, encourage this!”
Thanks so much for dropping by, Matthew.
Yes, GirlTalk is great! I bet solo femininity is good too. I’m checking it out now…
